Wellconv is a free, anonymous chat where you're matched with a random stranger for a text and photo conversation. There's no profile, no history, and no registration — you open the site and you're in a chat within seconds.

No. Wellconv has no registration, no username, no password, and no email required — not now, not ever. Your browser gets a random session identifier so the site can function, and that's the only thing that identifies you.

We don't collect names, emails, or any personal information. Messages are automatically deleted about 5 minutes after they're sent, and photos disappear within 20–60 seconds depending on your account tier. Once deleted, we have no way to retrieve them.

By default you're matched with the next available stranger, in the order people arrive. PRO users can additionally filter by the country their partner is chatting from.

Random chat pairs you with whoever's next in line. A private topic is a room you create and share only with people you choose — either by giving it a title others can find, or by generating a private link that leads straight to that one room. Either way, it's still just you and one other person.

Yes, the core chat is free with no time limit. A PRO tier is available for people who want to filter partners by country, keep photos visible longer, send unlimited photos in a chat, or use more than one browser tab at once. PRO is paid in cryptocurrency, not by card.

Use the “Complain” button inside a chat to stop being matched with that person again. To report content directly to us, use our contact and report form, linked from the Terms of Use.

No. Wellconv runs entirely in your browser — desktop or mobile — with nothing to download.
